The Camellia

A limited collection of ten ritual tea tables; each one an exclusive art piece made for communities we love.

Each table is connected to the others, glowing subtly, interacting through space and time.

*Early concept mock
Designed around the practical choreography of gong fu tea.Modern lines. Honest materials. Quiet electronics.

Induction boiler plate

Heat as quiet as the kettle. Built into the surface, not on it.

Countertop inlay lighting

Underglow that ages with the wood. Soft, slow, never fluorescent.

Paired magnetic cup holder

Cups rest exactly where they should. They never travel between pours.

Matching tea caddy

Leaves stored in their own quiet room. Designed to sit beside the table.

Five plush floor seats

Custom cushions integrated with the table. The host and four guests.

Retractable chord

When it leaves the wall, it disappears. No cables on the floor.

Optional battery power

Take the ritual outdoors. Off-grid, anywhere a session belongs.

1200 × 800 mm

Sized for a host and four guests, low to the floor.

Finished hardwood

Wears the patina of every session you host.

Copper, gold leaf, black acrylic inlay

Material accents that catch the underglow when lit.

Catch tray, water management

Spills disappear into the table by design — no towels at the ready.

Tea gives people a reason to gather without rushing. The ritual has a rhythm — pour, share, pause, repeat. The Camellia is designed to make that rhythm easier to host, and easier to build community around.

The Signal. A quiet acknowledgment between spaces.

When tea is being shared at one table, another table will softly glow in response. That's the whole interaction.

No feed. No screen. No social app. Just a small reminder that someone, somewhere, is sharing the same culture.

An edition of ten.

Four tables are spoken for. Six are open. Each will be placed with care — with people and rooms that will use it, host with it, and keep the ritual alive.

We are quickly moving from concept to prototype to the first ten.

Funds go to materials, electronics, CNC fabrication, finishing, assembly, and transport. We are still finalizing the bill of materials and will publish a transparent budget as the design settles.
